Re: Stillen S/C Install

My stillen with the stage 2 pulley setup with stock intake and exhaust made 331.2 to the wheels. Im pretty sure yoru car is pulling about the same.

More videos will be on the way, and I can dyno the car once I return to the states, unfortunately, my grandad has passed away and I'm in England for the funeral ..

Re: Stillen S/C Install

Colin,

I haven't exchanged posts with you before but I've enjoyed reading and viewing your Stillen experiences. I'm in the market for FI and haven't pulled the plug yet. Searching for the perfect solution. Reliable, high torque in low rpms, no hood mod, no support beam mod and little tuning. I'm dreaming right?

Anyway, I'm very sorry you lost your grand father. My condolences and have a safe trip.

Re: Stillen S/C Install

Something is seriously up with either my setup or the dyno that I have been using, I just finished about 6 runs and my best run shows a whopping 262rwhp, the a/f was showing a solid 9.9 right across the board. That is about 50rwhp less than it is suppossed to be ....

I will be trying a different dyno on saturday (dynojet) so we can find out if the mustang dyno that I have been using is fk'd.

Needless to say it will be a few sleepless nights ....

Re: Stillen S/C Install

I met cersoft/colin at a meet yesterday. He said that he had dyno'd on saturday and gotten 308 or something like that at the wheels. The stillen hood is actually MUCH better looking in person. I don't know if it was the color (IP) or not but it was actually tasteful.

Re: Stillen S/C Install

Mustang dynos will show a lower hp rating since it is loaded. You want to ask your dyno operator if he had it set to inertia or weighted. Sounds like you were on a weighted dyno. Just add roughly 10-15% and you have your dynojet numbers. If your car isn't running optimal you should be using a weighted dyno to get more real world a:f numbers. They WILL change on a dynojet compared to a weighted mustang. If you can tune your car, do it weighted or on a track.

Re: Stillen S/C Install

I have 7200 miles on the car, and the S/c was on the car for 1300 mies before it was pulled off.
Is it the stage 2 or 3 pulley you have on there and is yoru car a 2003 or 2004?

Re: Stillen S/C Install

how about a PM? J/K, well, not really. :-) I'm thinking of a stillen now that I've seen the power bulge in person. Is there anything that should make me think otherwise?
