Put JB weld on it and it won't leak.

+1 on jbweld, just make sure to scuff up both surfaces really well before you apply it.

at first I thought it was on the exhaust and i was like NOOOOOOOO... lol

The only thing that has to be done is that an smaller sized clutch than the stock LS1 size has be used to fit inside the bell housing. The pressure plate is easy to have the spline corrected. The only other things are the pilot bushing and the spacing which is what Spec Clutch is taking a look into for me.

I only looked into this because if I am going to buy a Spec flywheel and clutch for the T56 and they can make a conversion kit for a couple hundred dallars more then I can simplify my install and save some money.

I would not trust a nissan transmission with this engine...The result could get ugly.

I'm still on the fence about it. We'll see what Spec says and how much it cost. There is a could chance they flywheel might not clear anyways.

Anyways, i'm getting pumped watching you build!

Well major setback tonight. I had to take the engine just about all the way out of the car and remove the oil pan since the fitting for the drain was stripped and ruined and I need to grind it out and weld a new one one. Not very happy. =( It should be all back in tomorrow.

what are you going to end up doing with the drivetrain behind the engine... (I.e. tranny, rear end)

Update..fixed that setback now waiting for my brand new fuel pump to get back from magnafuel. It **** the bed on the first day. They said the gears were out of round which were causing it to be EXTRA loud and seize up. I should have that back tomorrow and the car is about 85% done.

After weeks and FNG weeks of battles issue after issue with this pump setup I almost gave up but didnt. It is now installed works perfectly and I ran the system at 80lbs for an hour and 20 min straight to check for leaks and I have none. The car will run at about 45psi at idle and at 0 vacuum 58psi(which is what the stock fp is set at) and since I have a boost ref'd FPR at 10psi the fuel pressure should see about 68psi. Heres a youtube video so you can hear it. It sounds a lot louder than it is..and once the car is running with the open pipe youll barely be able to hear it. And noone pulling up to me on the highway would ever hear it or expect an 88mm LS2 setup to be under the hood haha.

I was also able to turn the engine over for the first time(again) to make sure I had good oil pressure and that it was coming out of the turbo feel line correctly. At first I turned the starter for 15 seconds and nothing came out of the line and I was getting nervous so I got pissed off and turned the starter over for 30 seconds(I need a new one anyways) and finally it started coming out pretty strong. I have no spark plugs in so it was a nice easy turn over and a good way to get oil throughout the whole engine since it hasnt had any yet.

No set goal. The goal is to go 150mph in the 1/4. So however much hp that takes.
