BOV question!

Got an khs bov with my vortech setup. a few weeks after getting it installed, the bov was pretty "open", meaning it was blowing out a lotta air... so got it "tightened" and it was a lot quiter and not so wide open all the time. Well, now it's again to the point where if i just stand nextr to the car at idle, it just shoots air out, i can feel it about 5-6 feet away from the car even. can i get it adjusted aghain or is there something wrong with it? it's only been 3 months since i got it fixed.

sorry for the quotations, i am not too familiar with bov technology, so i'm using the best terms i can. basically it's open all the time and it's SUPER loud!

The BOV maybe set up to be open while not boosting and close when vacuum drops to build boost . This would be normal operation of it . This is how Vortech's bypass bov works any how .

The Bypass Valve (its not a BOV) is supposed to be fully open when not under wide open throttle. In otherwords, when the manifold pressure is less than the intake pressure (under vacuum or partially closed throttle plate), the BV will be open. Only during WOT will the valve close.

The valve activates by a simple mechanical pressure switch which compares the manifold pressure to the intake pressure. The screw on the valve can adjust at which pressure it will open etc... It should tell you more of this in the manual.
