Best First Mods On Your G

Iam going to put some mods on my car for sure 350z Intake, but is there any other good mods to but on? I was thinking about hyperground, but what does this do for your car? And how did the mods go on your car?
Thanks,

Jon

Re: Best First Mods On Your G

The most obvious improvements in performance resulted from springs and sways, lighter/stronger wheels, and bigger, stickier, lower-profile tires.

'03 G35s 5AT, Garnet Fire/Willow
Staggered 18" SSR GT1/Bridgestone PP S03
Eibach Springs/Sways, Stillen 2-pc BBK
Stillen Intake & SS Cat-Back Dual Exhaust

Re: Best First Mods On Your G

dont do the cheap way out and get the Z intake, get a CAI most HP Injen, then for a sedan you MUST get exhaust, the stock on a sedan is very restrictive and crappy.
go with a true dual. Good luck

04 G35 Sedan Blk/Blk
Nissan Badges
Tein S Tech
Injen CAI
Borla TD Exhaust
Helix Race Pipes

Z tube and Stillen give the most hp over Injen. Also safer.

G35 TX where did you see this? Injen claims higher than everything and have a dyno for it, i say get a real CAI and not a ztube or something in that category, wheels, suspension and everything is also GREAT for better performance also, bullseye hit ti dead on with what he said also and thats why i have all of the mods plus suspension and wheel setup, too bad my wheels are heavy as hell!! I cant wait to see what i run with stock 17's.. Martin

Re: Best First Mods On Your G

I think he's referring to hydrolock issues. If you want to see how the Injen CAI did search for the "Golden Gate Dyno Day" and the "Central FL Dyno Day". They both showed the Injen cars losing hp over the stock G35 set up. The Z-Tube with or without the Popcharger all gained an average of 5-7 horsepower over the majority of the power band.

Personally I'd believe independent dynos over a manufacturers dyno.
