400 whp on stock 06 revup for Vortech
hi everyone.. i'm just curious to see if it's realistic to get 400 whp on a stock 06 revup block.
where and how much did you pay for your install in southern california? thanks

I got to 420 whp with my stock Revup Vortech, but I changed my pulley from the stock 3.12 on the Revup kit to the 2.87, and had other supporting mods (HFC's, Headers, plenum spacer, injectors, etc) to get to those numbers...
It took me two days to install it myself taking my time, but if you have some experience you can probably do it in a day... My tune was done with Uprev at Church Automotive shop in Wilmington (near Long Beach), I highly recommend them them, and I still go there when I upgrade my setup...he has prices on his website but you can call him with you tune details and get a better idea of your costs...

400whp is very obtainable on a stock block with a 3.12 pulley or 2.87 pulley.
We got 448rwhp on our sedan with a 2.87, but we do have every supporting mod possible (minus the built engine, that will be Stage II build with T-Trim blower) Ran it over a year pretty hard before hitting any sort of oil consumption problems.
You can get 400whp pretty safely as long as you dont rag on the car all the time. It will need some decent supporting mods, but can be done with just a new pulley, some injectors and fuel pump.
Hit us up if you need a kit, we sell many a week!
