Post some pic OP

See, XKR know's actually what I'm referring to n I did say weclome, lol

I'm speaking from experience, I alrdy maxed out the vortech's potential with an upgraded blower (t-trim) and built motor and I only made 480whp on pump gas (91) without meth at 19psi. Can the OP seriously tell ppl he's making 430whp at 8psi ???

Hey OP, congrats on your build and tune; I also got my car done at Church with my Vortech and I am very happy with the tune/results... I'll probably coming back to Church to get my car re-tuned with Meth...

However, if you want to get a comparative dyno with most of the other cars I would get a re-dyno on a dynojet...I am going to do that myself after I get the meth done...probably at Specialty Z...GTM has a dynojet too...

Judging by how crotchety people seem to be in here with guys who are all excited, albeit new, with their new car and build... I get the impression some people should take a break. If a guy needs to know the dyno he pulled reads high... tell him. When he comes in wondering if his car is okay... give him pointers to fix it. Us new guys shouldn't have to come in here getting flamed just because we want to get advice from people we're learning to trust as opposed to the people giving advice 3 years ago who have since been banned- or are now actually crotchety and jaded.

Sorry, but really getting annoyed with needing to wear flame retardant clothing every time someone has a question and didn't read through 4000 results that are 4 years old through a search result.

^lol you will get the least amount of sympathy in the FI forums because by definition it is the one forum that you NEED to have done your research to be truly a part of and involved in.

But I don't think it was just pure hating on the op, it is good to tell him what he can realistically expect so he end up looking like an idiot in some other situation. Also letting him know what he would need to get to those actual numbers and what to expect.

More on topic, congrats op I am superbly jealous of your setup Now post pics or ban!

Every dyno is different, Since dynapacks read at the hub, they will usually read higher than dynojets which measure at the wheel (nothing new here). However, a lot depends on how the dynapack is calibrated.

SC's dynapack seems to be one of the highest reading dyno's in the country. It's all about the gains though, do you have before/after comparison?

Btw, my car put down 400whp/415trq. on GRD's dynapack (with leaking Cosworth plenum). On Porsche Exchange's dynojet, it put down 390whp/400 trq.

Dynapack's have some of the highest amount of variance in numbers because a lot depends on user input/settings (very easy to inflate numbers imo). However, dynapack runs are usually very consistent and good for tuning purposes. Dynojets are usually a better indicator of what kind of power you are actually putting to the ground.

Anyways, Congrads on your success OP. Enjoy the new power.
