no worries...

I believe that the V3 is available for A/T but not positive - this is probably a good question for Dan@assaultech

OKay guys i just got a email back from carlos at Vortech and he says i Quote "You can run this kit on an Automatic car but in order to properly run it the transmission will have to run in sport mode and will have to be manually shifted" Is this true. or can i actually leave it in automatic with out using the Manual shift? I mean i can manual shift it but im j/w for other reason if i can leave it in auto. well plz let me know or if anyone has a Vortech SC that also has a A/T

Eventually your transmission will start to slip. People who has a vortech kit with automatic transmission usually gets their transmission built.

I have no idea what a rev-up box is.

Again, I highly recommend you start reading the FI threads.

I get what your saying about slip but that brings me back to my point is it better for me to have a SC or a Turbo on my vehicle if its an Automatic??

okay update. I don't think im going to do a SC or anything FI to my car since i heard it kills the engine around like 100K miles and just beats the **** out the engine. is there still a way to achieve 400 HP w/O FI?? just curious

My turn!!!

you're supposedly getting a load of cash, you can build the engine for high power and go turbos with supporting mods and get 500-600. Or engine swap. Seriously read all FI threads to get an idea of what the stock and built DEs are capable of. So many people have gone so many ways you should be able to get a lot of ideas.

well i want to stay with the stock motor and just SC it but to support that what will i need to change. Rod, pistons etc.? just curious cause Right now im weighing more to the supercharger side but idk cause i also got this message from Vortech

Hello,

You can run this kit on an Automatic car but in order to properly run it the transmission will have to run in sport mode and will have to be manually shifted.

Thank You.

Sure, LS-2 engine swap. WTF ? Why would you bother building a G35 if your allegedly getting 100K ?

Buy a GTR, or ZR1.
