My TT G35 project
I posted this on my350z and figured id share and keep updated here as well.
I realized made a few threads which cannot be deleted so I am making one general thread for my current project. sorry for the other threads. Hopefully I will be able to get some knowledgable help from the guys here.
I have some FI experience with other cars such as 88' turbo mx-6, 97 s/c maxima, and a procharger previously on my g35 but am by no means an expert on FI let alone the VQ so any help is appreciated.
I dont plan to track the car. Just daily drive it and want a little more power once in a while. I very rarely even go over the speed limit.
also I DO NOT plan to go past 6-7 psi or 400whp. My goal is 350 to a max of 400 whp.
I think I have almost collected all the parts necessary to start my tt kit install.
03' g35 IP coupe 5at 50k miles
Current suspension/body mods:
tein basics
richie v2 fstb
stillen sways
spc front/rear camber arms and toe bolts
rotora 6/4 14" bbk
cf full ionic lip kit and TS hood
AME FS-01 18x10 all around in dark bronze
My current engine mods which I will leave on:
MD 5/16 spacer
1 step colder plugs(from previous s/c)
VB mod
trans oil cooler
Greddy EVO TT exhaust
Here is the parts list so far:
350z JWT 530BB turbo kit -brand new
440cc DW injectors
walbro 255lph fuel pump
Cobb accessport (thats what my tuner uses)
Greddy Profec E-01 boost controller/gauge
apexi turbo timer
Shopping list:
Oil temp/coolant temp/egt gauges
possibly hks ssqv or greddy type rs
Also is there anything that I am missing thatd be essential?
Thanks in advance for info/help. This should be a fun small project(compared to others builds).

how about an oil pressure gauge. our Gs don't have a stock one...couldn't hurt for extra awareness. I would say fuel return, but with your goals that could be over kill. Not sure what else, looks really good and will be fun!
For your goals i would ditch the
-Boost controler (waste gates are 7psi) so that is not needed for your goal
-440cc injectors the OEM make 400whp with the rising rate FPR included in the kit
-255lph fuel pump the 190lph one in the kit will reach your goals
-the COBB the SS box in the kit should already be tuned to make your goals
-Turbo timer....not needed on water cooled turbos
-BOV Bosh re-circ valve is more than adequate unless you like the SSQV sound
-EGT gauge, a wideband guage would be much better but gauges are only helpful if you know what your watching them for anyway.
Looks like you have been up sold into a bunch of stuff that is not required for your goals. It is your money but I ran my car without any of the above stuff and it made 400whp and ran flawlessly if you have plans for upgrades in the future some things would be alright but the injectors are too small if you ever plan on going bigger so if you are getting them for bigger plans down the road get 550-650cc injectors or stick with the stockers.
Jim Wolfs web site has a tech section you should run you questions by them they are very helpful and usually quick to get back to you.

well the thing is i forgot to mention the kit is new but preowned and does not come with any fuel components or the SS box so I had to put that together myself.

got an install appointment on tuesday! Time to get this project going again.
Also bought some red sparco torinos which will go in once the rails arrive.
bought an innovate lc-1 with gauge and now need to decide on 2 other gauges.

Put very well, boost is very addicting.
Best of luck with the project! Take your time however.
Wanna trade my 530bb turbos for your 700s?? lol. I could REALLY use them right now. The 700s include a wastegate spring that is set too high for the stock block anyway...if you're interested you should shoot me a PM
