ok, anyone following this thread...don't hate me...I fixed the car but the reason it wasn't running right is so insanely stupid I can't believe I (working on cars for quite some time, even installed the tt kit) and the shop i took the car to couldnt figure out that all that was wrong was the chargepipe wasnt secured to the throttle body, so when i gave it gas it just bogged down from not getting air. What can I say, it hauls a$$ just like it used to . Only thing I'm concerned about now is due to my investigative work on the turbos I found the oil leaking slightly from the driver side turbo exhaust housing. Is this a sign of early oil seal failure or just not draining properly?

that would be called a boost leak lol a really big one. i would asy wipe the turbo off and drive it then look again to make sure thats exacly where its coming from. i may be wrong but if the seal was going out i don think it would drain show on the turbo it self. check all your lines and make sure its not coming from them

I have had a turbo leak oil before, it was the oil feed line was not tight enough. I would check the feed and return lines first to be sure that is your issue before buying/rebuilding turbos for several thousand dollars. As far as the turbo rebuild goes, Blouch turbos on the east coast(DC area i think) can rebuild your APS turbos with Garrett centre sections but it is not cheap. Cass007 from my350Z had it done I think he said $1200-1400/turbo . He was very happy with the service though.
