APS is also coming out with a single turbo kit... msrp is around $4900 area, so street pricing should be much cheaper... close to $4500 or even less. i believe the kit comes with a new turbo manifold as well.

the turbonetics kit provides a lot of power... so i am guessing a more efficient power band from the APS kit? who knows, to be continued...

Yes, here's some more info...

Thanks for your post and I'm positive that the APS Intercooled Single Turbo System can be executed in a way that delivers optimum engine performance and component durability at a very affordable price...............in other words an excellent entry level FI product for Z owners who want higher engine performance, quality precision parts, with thorough engineering backing the product.

Often a very competitive market place breeds new innovation and provides Turbo System designers the opportunity to push the boundries of performance and engineering to a new level. This is exactly what APS intends to offer in the APS single turbo product, time will tell for sure.

Thanks

peter

I believe you guys will see loads of value in the APS Intercooled Turbo system.................no doubt APS intends to package all of the high quality engineered components (Latest Garrett watercooled turbo technology) to make this a real turn key powerful solution whilst offering incredible value for $$$$$ spent.

I genuinely believe that the APS Intercooled Single Turbo system will offer a real cost effective alternative, similar MSRP (around the 5k price) to the more popular supercharger systems and provide superior performance over most if not all supercharger systems.

We anticipate that the entire APS Turbo System could be installed in approximately 10 to 12 hours depending on the expertise of the installer and shop equipment available.

It definitely will never meet the CARB emission requirements though will/should meet the normal SMOG test that most states enforce (IM 240) SMOG test.

Will keep you guys updated along the Journey.

Thanks

peter

At this stage we are working towards an MSRP of approximately $4995 and this would include the following APS quality hardware,

1) Cast ductile iron high - energy turbo exhaust manifold(s)

2) Water cooled Garrett dual ball bearing turbocharger (600 HP)

3) Massive High flow bar and plate air to air intercooler

4) Polished stainless steel intercooler ducting

5) Comprehensive fuel system (similar to the APS TT system)

6) high capacity cast alloy air cooled oil pan with turbo oil return port

7) Engine management with full ignition timing, boost control , and air/fuel ratio control.

I look forward to hearing from you guys/gals as to product specification, price on the APS single turbo system and your input on this topic is most welcome

Thanks

peter

No it will include the injectors and no othe small stuff will be necessary. APS' kits are VERY VERY complete..... if they do not include injectors, that means that you may not need dthem at the lower power levels of the single turbo kit. But, I am sure Peter will clarify this issue as soon as he returns to this board.
