I've seen that video and I swore on my life that you wrnt turboed lol but there was another g there with a vortech supercharger and he ran 12.8 and another guy in a tt z 360 whp and 350ftlbs that ran 12.6 ...maybe my expecations are a little high thinking I could run 12.5s but I feel I should at least break into the 12s

Your trap is a little low for your power level, i hate to tell you but your driving needs serious work. I was around 380whp I trapped 112mph with street tires on a poorly prepped track. The track I ran was at about 4000ft altitude so that slows the cars down a bit I ran a 12.7. I have seen several cars in the low 13s with that kind of poweR high 13s isn't good though and your trap isnt good, get out and get some runs under your belt you should be able to trim that 60' time to a 2.0 if you do that and work on shifting quicker you will be into the 12s.

I'm open to all ideas ^ I just have a hard time believing my driving was the reason because I had an n/a g before this one that I was able to get the same time with.

with more power it is harder to put that down coming out of the box.

Many people think because you TT you have better 0-60 etc...
when it's exactly the opposite

you cant put 300hp in a civic with stock wheels and suspension and expect it to be any faster than stock track times. suspension, TIREs, and ofcourse the driver.

My car spins in the first 3 gears so it's no fun doing 1/4 miles from a standstill, I def need DR if I go to the track next time.

Ive seen G35's Run low 11's with TT set up and Build Engine ,Evos are AWD bro don't forget, we are RWD .Need lsd and better tires plus better final drive to achieve good Runs.. also gut the car we are Tanks..It's also embarrassing seen G35's and Z's destroying AWD cars, why? cause they know how to Tune a Car not like some folks that add a TT and think they are the Sh!it..

G35's aren't all that great when it comes to running fast quarter mile times. That's why I bought myself an Evo lol.

Your best bet at improving the time is working on the launch and maybe some DRs.

What? G's and Z's destroying AWD cars? OH MY!!!

Where?

From a roll maybe, but when you find a drag strip that races from a roll, you let me know.

edit:

@ your post, isn't what you said pretty much what I said? Drag radials?

as for TT vs single. Wasn't it PowerLab that ran a G35 at 11.00 flat on a single set-up?

Sorry if I misunderstood your post, it was not easy to understand.

Is it really possible to have 7.5 psi on an aps tt kit and not get into the 12s?
by my tune and you will hit 12s 4 sho..lol i didn't know u was TT already

I'm sure draqg radials make a big difference, but just looking at the times people have posted in the 1/4 mile time slip thread, 13.8 just doesn't add up. As for awd I happened to race an sti and got him off the line...idk if it was luck or he was a bad driver but that was my slowest run (14 flat). Ill try drag radials next time but something just doesn't seem right to me because our cars run sub 14.6 stock

you will prob have a better launch time if you installed the 2 step... build up boost quicker..
