I haven’t seen this info posted yet but what clutch/flywheel are you running on your car?

I ran a 13.5 @ 108 mph with 360whp… of course I did bend a rod on that run too, lol

I have a theory based on no real facts that the flywheel is potentially hurting our times/trap… my brother lost a few MPH after installing a JWT flywheel too (single turbo 350Z, 370 whp, trap fell by 4 mph), IDK for sure though…

its all in the 60ft, i had a evo 9 that was capable of running mid 12s but i couldnt lauch it if someone had a gun to my head. i would just nose dive it, so i lost alot of my time in the 60 ft. my best was a 13.4. so get that launch down and you will improve.

The 60 ft. is key for the actual ¼ mile time but the trap shouldn’t fluctuate very much at all, that’s the main problem I see… 60 ft. times can be improved with more seat time, sticker tires, etc., but he should still be trapping higher than 108 mph with that much horsepower.

For crank horsepower that is spot on. Now why do you have an APS kit and are making so little power...

360 whp should be good for more than 108 mph

Exactly why I mentioned about checking the header bolts and nuts.
They are notoriously known for coming out as I found out on my car
when I did the motor swap.

that launch wasnt too bad but wasnt great either. the trap wasnt too high either, heat soak could be a problem, the tune could be a major problem. driving could have added to it.

let us know what you find out, do you have a data logger or gauge or anything to tell you what the car is doing?

yeah, I'm making an appointment to switch over to something else like uprev or utec and get retuned so I will know myself what the car is putting down. I'm thinking that the car was tuned too safely, but now I've got meth and in a couple weeks if people are still interested I will post a video of the drag day after I get it retuned

I've got boost guage, fuel pressure, and a/f. a/f is solid between 14.9 and 14.5 and I never lost any boost when i watched the recording on the defi guages

im thinking more of intake air temps, knock and timming. those are the ones that will make your car hurt as it goes down the track

just a quick bit of info, my other car, stock the intercooler was too small. so the 1/8 mile the car flew. temps heat up the car knocks the timming goes down the drain and the car goes slow the second half of the track. we made an intake manifold, got rid of the problem and gained 1.5sec in the 1/4 (a few supporting mods) car still makes the same hp (roughly)

I sure hope your a/f is not 14.5-14.9 when in boost
