Vortech charger and high km

Hey, just wanting opinions on whether or not this would hold up? I bought a G35 with 180 000 km, I know that's pretty high, but are these motors dependable? I want to get a supercharger, not looking to drag race or anything.

For those who have this kit, what were your km's when you first installed it, how long have you had it, and any noticeable difference in engine noise/wear?

TIA

I'd start by testing compression, leak down test, oil consumption, etc to see how the motor is doing. Although I'd still not install the kit but at least check the engine first. Same goes with the transmission. You can take it to an inspection shop and see how everything is doing.

+1

Most of the time you never really know how the previous owner(s) took care of the car.

Is the car Auto or Manual Trans?

The car is in pretty good shape as far as I can tell. I'm sure it was driven hard its share of times though. No oil consumption that I can notice, and always used synthetic according to last owner. I just changed plugs and the old ones seemed fine, all burning clean. If I wasn't such a retard I probably would have done a compression test but I totally forgot.

Car is a manual, I have gotten a few hard shifts at time going into 1st and 3rd, but nothing major.
