No issue thus far (knock on wood). I have 5k boosted miles so far. Only issue I've had was blow out my FI HFC's. So I have decided to go with Art pipes.

dunno if you have done anything for the stock crappy filter but I just did this and it feels awesome! I found out in a recent dyno day that the stock POS filter that comes with vortech sucks and when I did a run with out the filter on and gained 33hp

I don't see anything wrong with that pancake filter, looks like airflow should be awesome. I always wondered why they didn't make the vortech kit come with a rerouted intake tube. Good job.

I always wondered the same thing.. i just changed my pancake style filter on my vortech about a month ago and it was a PAIN to do it. Rob, what did you do with the breather hose that comes attached to the Vortech filter?

^ Remove the hose and attach a 5/8" breather filter.

yeah I haven't removed the hose yet, its just hanging for now.

Installed a sexy MD TDX2 Shockwave and sold my Ark Grip. See 1st post for dyno chart and details.

Very nice and great choice with the exhaust, I have the OG MD exhaust and love it. Like you said, the quality on Tony's exhaust is excellent.

I'm pretty sure you can do the CAI on a Z too. I know I have seen it done. Check the 350Z forum.
