I'm lookin into going TT fairly soon but I'm in a toss up between these 2 kits. I can save a grand with the JWT kit but I'm trying to figure out how they compare and which would overall be the better kit to go with. Im not looking for big numbers. I'd be satisfied making close to 400 seeing I'm sticking with stock internals. If the Greddy is the better kit to go with I wouldnt mind forking out the extra cash for it

Both the JWT and Greddy will be labor intensive. if you are looking for 400hp on stock internals then just go with a vortech supercharger. Saves a lot on labor and "less stress" on the engine. You will have the supercharger whine, but some people like that. Then get an osiris tune and you are ready to go. If you really want turbo then go with boosted performance single turbo (check on my 350z for reviews). It's a awesome kit with a lot of options and upgradable and does not require you to pull the engine http://my350z.com/forum/forced-induc...me-g-love.html. Again another safe stock internal set up.

I agree with the above but since your not going for big power do you need a tt setup.

Main reason y I was going to go with the TT setup is because I was going to get the kit used. And I haven't seen any used vortech setups for revups in the marketplace lately. And the price I found on the TT setup is really good and right around Wut I'd pay for the used SC anyway And I know I'd get that torque that the SC falls short on. It is daily driver but I don't plan on runnin high levels of boost. I found a deal on APS single turbo kit with GT35R but the guy is saying its missing the scavenger pump or turbo catch can? Idk if i wanna go thru the hassle of finding stuff

well how about this.

Get a labor quote for the TT install and the a single or supercharger install. See how much they are offset.

You may have enough to get a new complete single turbo with install for the same price as a used TT and install.

Boosted Performance ST kits start at around $4500 if I recall right. His screen name on here is 350Z T.

As far as Greddy vs JWT 530bb. The JWT has Garrett ball bearing turbos vs Greddy Journal bearing turbos (you can google that) typically ball bearing are considered better and spool quicker in most cases the BB turbos are also water cooled a must if you do track days. The 18G kit will have more power potential than the 530bb kit. The JWT kit also has the twin intercoolers if you are keeping the stock bumper or a Nismo. Both good kits though. I had the 530bb kit now upgraded to the JWT 850bb kit no complaints at all about JWT stuff and the customer service is outstanding. If the 530bb kit was a $1,000 cheaper than the Greddy I would take it for sure, unless you want plan to have a built engine with over 500whp one day.

Twin front mounts if your are into that sort of thing
