Would your increased displacement be the difference?

 

2pt afr difference under load or vacuum? If the latter, likely an exhaust leak. The jwt manifold heat shield bolts on both sides caused me trouble over the years. On my manifolds, the mounting boss had been drilled straight through, so if a bolt backs out you get a nice exhaust leak right onto surrounding pipes and hoses.

 

Still working out some fuel issues. However took it out of the shop for a exterior detail and photo shoot. Below is a teaser...
