I Need a New Stillen Blower :(

So, if anyone checked out the Stillen SC thread, they would see i have been having issues with my current kit. After a long back and forth day with Stillen, the diagnosis of my problem is the gears of the blower. Basically, the job (parts included) would be close the the price of a new blower.

The problem is, i asked for a quote on BOTH situations, and i got neither. Quoting the whole repair i know takes a bit longer, but finding the part number for the blower and giving me a quote shouldnt be that hard.

Has anyone replaced their blowers or gotten quotes on em?

You can go ahead and ignore this thread and take this advice:

If your Stillen Blower ends up with any problems, get rid of the kit. Just got a quote for 3000 for a new blower, 2000 if i trade in my old one. Quite frankly, its not worth the money. Especially since i was assured it wasnt going to be anywhere near that price.

Have you tried contacting Eaton who makes the blower yet.

From what I am told, Eaton is not the manufacturer. Magnasin(spelling) is. They say that my last resort is sending it to them, hey senda to magnesin, and they try to fix. If not, I'm stuck with their diagnosis crew, which is 99/hr labor. And I'm not going to do that.

If you havent figured out a fix yet, there are several third party company's out there that will rebuild this blower for you. I was looking into the cost of it once when i was bored. It was like $700 from what i remember.
