Youve got 10 grand what products/setup would you purchase?
So Gurgen, you had everything done @ Techno? All engine work and install of your PE? Thanks for taking the time to estimate all the costs involved.
How much would you guess the savings would be if you go ST instead?
Thanks,
Brian

Gurgen, I know you're not from the Midwest but do you have any opinion or insider info. on Charles (phunk on my350z) @ CJ Motorsports in IL or (zerotoprove on 350z)Tuan/Genesis Racing Dev. in IL? Anything you've heard on their fairness of pricing?

Sorry Gurgen, I hope you prove me wrong, very wrong.

I ran 13.9 at 4.3psi, 13.6 at 5.4 psi, and 13.4 at 6.2psi. Also, the correction is much much more than 0.4secs. Using the most conservative estimates, and there was a large discussion about this on the forums, the correction is about 0.7 seconds (and more realistically .9-1 sec). that track is BAD period. Also, remember that it was 85-90 degrees when we ran it that time. A stage 3 Stillen ran against me that day, and he ran a 14.3. that track is REALLY bad!

with a bone stock coupe i would do the first upgrades that i am currently doing to mine. I purchased SBC finish sp1's 18x9 and 18x10.5 for 2100 and i am purchasing tein basics for around 900 installed. that leaves me 7k to spend (save in my situation) and i would not run out an buy a turbo or s/c until i had more than 10k so that i could do it right... so i would buy the usual with sways, custom dual n1 apexi exhaust from headers back, camber adjustment equipment, new clutch and flywheel, i have intake that i will not change unless i go f/i because i like it a lot. i would get some so3's and probably begin building my engine with the remaining money and save for turbo.
Personally i will never do this i am sure unless i decide that i am keeping this car for a really long time (which i may).
i am going to stop at coilovers, wheels, camber arms, dark tint and maybe nav later (avn2454) and then the crazy exhaust. I doubt i will ever go f/i because i plan on purchasing an old 1via for my next car and making it VERY fast and having the g for my "nice" car
