I would not want to rev up the stock vq35 to over 7000rpm...what I heard from R&D guy from Nissan, the stock head bolt will stretch around 7000rpm to 7500rpm. so if you want to rev that high, I would suggest to change the head bolt to ARP like this one arp bolt.

hmmm well i can understand about the other cars. personally i did look at a srt4 before my rsx-s and i didnt really care for the interior... somethings just seemed cheap. on the 06 eclipse i have a friend that is already slated to buy one lol doesnt really care how it drives i dont think. and im the kinda person that doesnt want the same car as what his friend has lol. im incredibly picky when it comes to cars. and im kinda liking the g35, i can understand why you would say the sugestions becuase they are incredibly cheaper then the route im thinking of. but i dont want a cheap car again... i want a car thats going to last a long *** time lol. do you think the 35 could do that? last past 100k miles if treated right?

I think the Scion TC is a better deal than the SRT4... with a turbokit its just as fast if not faster than the SRT-4. Plus you would have Toyota quality. Ive been hearing stories of 300whp easy(stock internals) change clutch.. and it goes even higher... and there's one guy running 600hp on stock crank. for 21,000 or so after mods they are running 11's and 12's. It's extremely moddable.. and the engine was sort of built for boosting.. not only that there's talk about swapping the RAV4's transfer case and rear axle for an AWD Scion TC.

It's like what? 14,000? then spend 7000 on the turbo kit + tuning. to get to the SRT-4's price point... you'd already exceed it and have a MUCH better (looking, and built) car.

TC > SRT4...

G35c > The Above

My AT5 with vortech shifts at about 6,800rpm....the tach reads 7,100rpm . Confirmed on the Dyno that my tach is off . If I was to rich [ sub 10.8 to 1 A/F ] up top , the car wouldnt shift at all
