compression

whats is a good compression for going boost on a 2004 G35 6 spd manual?

if you DD the car and plan on running pump gas stick to 8.5:1

I raised mine up to 9:01 from 8.5:1and really enjoy the response.
Is your suggestion of 8.5:1with respect to the pump gas?
My cars performance isn't too bad with pump. But I introduced too many new variables to be more accurate for comparative sake.

huh? you have a low comp motor already?

Yea I HAD low comp pistons. One of them cracked under boost.( long story)
So this time around i went with JE low comp pistons.
In short to answer your question yes I have a low compression built motor

I'm not the OP. I was curious as to why for a dd you would suggest a compression ratio that offers less torque on the low end.

It's a safer choice when using 91 or 93
