It's fixed now by purchasing a new throttle body and have dealer relearn it. Done

Be patient, may take several times to get it right
Just did this after cleaning my throttle body and the idle being off. Worked like a charm. Not sure why people have said pressing the gas pedal 5 times in 5 seconds is difficult. It took about 2.5 seconds to complete. Stopwatch is key!

Does the idle speed being off throw an engine code? I had a CEL as well. That I had to clear. I haven't driven it far enough to see if will come back.

It was reset, and if it was unrelated to that TB it will return.

It came on after putting in new plugs and cleaning the throttle body, so I am thinking it was related. But who knows. I did have some oil in the #6 spark plug hole that dripped in as I took the plug out. I tried to get it all out before but it did smoke pretty good when first started up.

I know this post is old but I just wanted to throw my 2 cents in. I unpluged the TBI and Accelerator for a few mins (don't really know if that made a difference). I counted 1000-1, 1000-2, etc. It saids wait 7 secs after the 5 hard pedal push n release. I waited 10secs and then held the pedal down. Does is a big indicator if you done it right. The SES light will blink 5 times pause and blink several more times. Within 3 seconds start the car. The idle should drop. It took me a week to get it right.

Never came back and I have driven 1500 miles or so. I guess it does throw a code.
