I'm positive Gurgen would be very impressed with the way the APS twin turbos puts down the power down on the road, I'm that impressed I spent last night thinking what would be the easiest method for a right drive coinversion for the G35 coupe, I just love this car.

I hope to get some pics and a good deal of info up on the APS web site within the next 24 to 48 hours, In the interim period if you guys have any questions ask away and I will answer what questions I can.

Thanks

Peter

Awesome, good to hear that Sam had the time to give you a quick demo and I'm pleased to hear that this put a smile on your face.

I'm not sure that this stroker kit would offer good bang for buck (additional power vs $$$$$ spent) though I think the base VQ engine with a set of forged rods and pistons, some cyl head work and bigger cams (more duration and lift) would yeild a very powerful and reliable result without breaking the bank balance.

I know that Tuan from GRD tuned his stock VQ engine and produced just over 500 WHP from ther stock APS intercooled Twin Turbo system (not that I recommend you do this on stock rods) so with just a nice set of rods and pistons 500 WHP is very doable for a dayly driven G35, well a decent twin plate clutch would also be required i'm sure.

Interesting point, I'm sure a well built G35 would give many expensive super cars a real hard time on many roads given a good steerer behind the wheel.

Hi guys,

I took a ride in a APS TT Z today and let me tell you... Wow! It was scary insane. Two thumbs up to APS for a very impressive system.

Yes, will work on 5AT. Valve body upgrade is suggested, but not required.

APS TT will be around $7500, possibly just sligtly more due to extra parts for G35. If APS releases a single-turbo kit for the G, price around $5500-6000.

I am assuming you have a coupe... if so, then yes, everything will physically fit, but i would strongly suggest you take the car to a unichip dealer and make sure you are not running lean... the timing that APS sets should be ok, but we just do not know how the A/F will react to the different loads (given that you have a torque converter that slips).

If you have a sedan, the short answer that almost everythign will fit, but expect a few things not to... like the intercooler if you have one of the very early sedans (which will necessitate removing the aux fan), and it seems that you will also need a new in-tank fuel pump assembly, as the sedan one, at least the early ATs AND MT's are very different from the coupe's.

Yes each GT series Garrett dual ball bearing turbo is rated at 40 lbs per minute Mass air flow (for a total of 80 lbs per minute) at around 16 to 18 PSI, sufficient Mass air flow for around 800 crank Horsepower.
