What cable for SS box?

Just got my tunning software. What cable do I need to buy?

You need some type of usb cable that connect your laptop to the ss box. pm paul at avalon. he can tell you which one. I know you can get them at radio shack but don't know the p/n.

if it's a 9 pin d-sub on the SS box, you can get a USB to DB9 adapter at frys for like $20. if your laptop has a DB9 on the back, you just need a straight cable.

otherwise known as a 9pin serial cable...the guys at Fry's are idiots and you'll need to spell it out for them.

Dont use the one from RadioShack . They suck and dont work . Ive tried it . Go to Best Buy or some place like that . A UBS to Serial adapter . After you put in the Driver for it . Check to see what com port it hooks up with .
