You can't beat the torque on those vettes! That was def not stock...I ran my buddies C6 at the track and he beat me by a tenth of a sec! But he is stock. That vette def was modded.

Yeah, definitely not stock. That vette was crazy fast and just the way that thing pulls, torque power was insane.

hmm im guessin im only gonna hit a mid to low 13, maybe a high 12 with traction...another question, VDC on or off when im flooring it from a stop? I was thinkin wouldnt the VDC (on) help with the traction problems or is that bad for the car...but i was also thinkin with the VDC (off) i wouldnt lose power...is that correct?

Randy,
Are you talking about the video posted by David on last Dyno day in So.Cal before you moved. With Derek holding the camcorder. Both with Vortech SC, and his BOV sounding different from yours. Yeah that was cool video, if your referring to that. I remember everyone having low#'s due to mustang dyno.

Yeah, just turn off VDC, no fuse to pull...if you have a 6MT, try to feather the clutch off of the line...it's hard and def easier with a stock clutch, but with my lighten flywheel and clutch combo, it's hard...Glen Rose is 45 minutes south of DFW

oh yea, not too far away i guess...we should have a I-45 Z/G meet haha...anyways...i've been looking into this tuning thing with the SS box and it requires the R4 program correct? does the program come with the Vortech system? if not, what if my installer doesn't have this program, would I have to purchase it? if so, how much? and is the program easy to use? thanks.

Thumbs up

That vette, if im not mistaken, is twin supercharged. Eric Lingenfelter is a vette god, he created a C4 called the Sledehammer that when over 200mph. And his shop is working on a twin turbo 950hp setup for the new vette.
http://www.lingenfelter.com/. Check out some of the sick kits he has for them. If ya ever get tired of a G, these can be fun as well. Maybe when I finish the G, I'll start looking for an older C5 to play with! LOL just my bits.
