I'm ready for GAUGES...need help/suggestions

So, anyone who knows my story knows that I have had my Vortech SC for about 9k miles and I've had no gauges. Now that I live in a state that doesn't give me a hard time about my SC, I want to install an A-pillar and three gauges...Boost, Fuel Pressure and A/F. Any recommendations? I know of Defi, Greddy, AutoMeter and HKS. What would you say would be my best bang for the buck without compromising reliability. I know Defi is the most expensive, but is it any more reliable than the others? What do you have? And as far as A/F goes, suggestions? Any group buys I should know about or members that have hook ups?

HELP!

Good post Randy, Im ready as well, and would like to get some ideas. Please post pix. Anyone have pictures that show custom guages installed, like in the Nav.compartment, etc.. Looking for " stealth " installations. " G352NV's " Zeitronix located in the sun glasses compartment is pretty cool.

I'm a die hard HKS man - but I know that Blitz and Apex also make very nice meters, Defi wouldn't be a bad choice - also remember there are things like PowerFC, Defi makes a heads up display, Greddy has an e-manage 'commander' that shows stats, HKS CAMP, etc. - all of which have multiple functions in one box - much more stealth

EGT may not be a bad thing to meter in addition to those you've mentioned . . . however probably very similar to the metering of A/F

You know what Im going to say. The nice thing about mine is it replays your run. You can hook it up to a laptop and tune or you can just push the button on the site and see all your peak #'s for your last run.

dude, that was a joke- way too many guages in all the wrong places. I havent decided if Im going to do an A-pillar or something custom in the nav cubby. There was someone a while back that had pics of his fiberglass gauge pod mounted in the unused nav cubby- it looked pretty good. I tried searching but couldnt find the one with pics.

Thought it was some sort of pod that can be mounted elsewhere, like in the Nav.compartment.

I think this is the link to the nav cubby pod I was looking for, but since Im on a government server it wont open "personal network storage" sites. AKA picture sites. might be the same car you are talking about, gxclusiv.

I also had these saved on my laptop, cant remember whose it is
