Tony,

why don't you mail your unichip before they install in on the car to Tuan. The 93 map is not big deal. The maps for higher than 450rwhp is when they need the car in person to tune it.

Damn, if I had known that I would have done it. Everything was just sitting in my room for about two weeks. That just goes back to Tuan getting back to me, I am still waiting on a response.

Tony,
Is the shop customizing or making their own brackets/piping for the APS kit to fit your G. Thought about that too, similar to KP's, but was told to just wait for the parts. Also regarding bolt-on mods like plenum, exhaust, and if decide to add cams later, it will still need to be tuned properly, probably best to have all that done same time with your TT install. Hope your install shop is a qualified unichip tuner, and have a " full load " dyno machine, best for tuning.

One of the guys at the shop is heading up to oregon to get qualified as a unichip tuner from what I understand. For now the only bolt ons I'll have is test pipes and I already have the nismo exhaust installed. I'm also going to do the water injection, I'll wait on the APS plenum to be released. I'm not expecting a perfect tune, just trying to add what little bit I can to the base tune with the APS kit.

The shop is going to do custom piping and brackets, it will be interesting to see how that goes. This is basically what they specialize in so it shouldn't be that much of a problem. If worse comes to worse I'll wait for the supplemental kit from APS.

Regarding 93 oct.map, I thought depending on what state the APS kit was purchased from it would already be mapped for either 91 or 93 octane. So if you bought and installed the kit in Cali, out of box its tuned for 91oct. Another state that uses 93oct, if bought there, that kit is mapped for 93oct. I guess I was wrong about this?

From what I understand it has nothing to do with where you live. You just have to specify what map you want...91 or 93.
