New parts in preparation for my built motor

Just wanted give an update and show everyone my new parts. I should get my motor back in the next 2-3 weeks. Allowing for delays, I would say I should get my car back by the end of June.

Looking good.

Where did you buy the A-pillar (does it clear the air bags) & gauges from?

I bought them from intensepower.com. Best prices I have found on those particular items. The color for the tan pod matches perfect too. What do you mean about the air bags?

The short block is the bottom end.....rods and pistons. The long block refer to the whole motor with head work.

The mounting brackets have to be extended. Any shop that has experience fabricating can do this.

I don't know how to explain it cause I am no mechanic. When I bought the Koyo from GSC motorsports the guy told me that the brackets has to be extended. He told me it can be done if I have a shop that has experience fabricating. I am getting my work done at South Florida Performance. PM me your number and when they start putting my car back together I will give you a call so you can check it out. It should be another 2-3weeks.

Sorry Gman2004, I lost track of this thread.

I was concerned about the side curtain air bags. It looks like the bags will clear the pod, I just don't know what the wires(?) are that run down the A pillar.

Yeah, I am going to use the 550's. My new motor will be good for 600+whp but that is just to damn much power. With the 550's I might be able to get to 570whp or so on my high boost setting. That is good enough for me. I don't know if they are high or low....what ever the VQ uses. You can't choose with the G (that's what I was told). The fuel pressure regulator came with the AAM fuel return solution.

oh ok, not too familiar with the G, i am going to run a fpr but never heard of a AAM fuel return solution with the fpr, that's prob. cause i'm not too familiar with VQ motors, just the K series. But, with the FPR and the fuel return, you should be running around 550 or so whp before the duty cycle is maxed out. Damn...that's going to be a sick *** G man! congrats and good luck!
