Unhappy All these Twin Turbos out their?

Could someone do a comparison/contrast :confused with the greddy tt,aps tt, jwt tt, and powerhouse tt. Which is the best kit? Which one can you boost the most with? Which one is the safest? Which package comes complete and with the most suff? What tt kit do you think is the best and why?

Pick up the new issue of Sport Z Magazine. They're doing a turbo shootout for the VQ. They're comparing the Greddy, APS, JWT, PE and a couple of others. www.sportzmagazine.com

Are you going to build the block before you install the TT? When are you buying the G?

Well my plan is to save up all the neccessary money first and then get the g so around the end of december or sometime february or march of next year. After being in the show scene with one of the biggest east coast clubs(TEAMECI.COM) i see what it takes to win at a show. You got to have your shhhh together man. I would like to get the block and then the tt. Well thats the plan but to build the g I AM LOOKIN AT 30K TO 40K. BUT WELL SEE NOW I AM JUST TALKIN AND PLANNING NOW.

well maybe someone can help me out.. im looking for about 600rwhp.. im debating between the jwt or ssr or aps... i realy like the split intercooler that comes with the jwt but the ssr looks like its the best for my needs.. am i wrong? I plan to build the block also and this will be my first forced induction car.. i just want to do it right..

Hey,
If carb cert. is not an issue in your state or dont care for it. Then I would recommend SFR/SSR TT set-up. SpeedForceRacing makes the SSR kit and can also build-up your engine. Build the bottom end with arias pistons and pauter rods, machine block, port and polish cylinder heads, full radius valve cut, SFR intake manifold, 720cc inj. Get you 550 + rwhp. 600rwhp maybe overkill? Hmm... maybe not.

Probably because he is affraid to blow he motor. If you go with the greddy make sure you research it and get all the safety extras........most importantly find a really good tuner.

PBStyle, I'm in Atlanta too and Z1 just finished my TT install, were you at HIN?

As far as the different kits go, I think its all about research and personal preference. Most of the kits available are represented here and I think we all chose for different reasons.

Oh ok so have you ran into any of these problems with your greddy. I thought greddy was the safest thing out their i guess not. Why did you choose greddy out of the rest of them. If you could change would you and what would it be. Overall i like the craftmanship of the greddy kit, and the other kits they look rather ancient to me. Which kit allows you to boost the most and get the most rwhp?

Yeah tony i was at hin atlanta and i look for your car but i guess you werent(TURBOS WERENT INSTALL YET) their the only cars i seen from z1 motorsports was a blue zW/FABULOUS KIT AND greddy TT and a stock rx8 and the MODELS from z1 dancing on the pole in the importatlanta booth. I was hoping to see you their to ask you why you chose the aps tt. My boy from teameci has the power enterprise tt for his z and has a block on the way from sgp. IT WAS THE IP Z WITH THE DO LUCK KIT PARK BEHIND THE 2 MR2S.
