a little off topic but i've searched the forum for the best 60 sec and 1/4 times, and got a wide variety times, and i know that traction seems to be a large problem for getting lower times. Speed Magazine found both the stillen sc and greddy tt to be in the lower 5's for 0-60 and mid 13's for 1/4, but that seems slow for a FI'd g35 (most likely traction was the main issue). i believe i heard once that APS claimed around 11.9xx for their TT setup, but they must have had an amazing launch and great grip. with high 300whp to low 400whp what is the lowest times anyone has seen/heard of on the g35c and w/ what mods? how was the traction problem controlled/addressed during their run?

thanks

I've seen a 12.7 come from a G with a Vortech SC. His info can be found here: www.dfwg35.com

Just get some drag radials. If you don't then granny it in 1st and 2nd then hit it in 3rd. I run 265 DR's but have yet to hit the track.

12.7 seems good for a vortech, think it's around the same for all. also, do you think that TT's can do better b/c of the extra torque?

Yes, a TT can do better, but not as safe. Booger has also hit the 12's. I've yet to, but but probably is, I upgraded to a lightened flywheel and clutch combo and that killed launched at the drag strip, but it's great for road tracking it.
