vortech s/c making a rattling noise

well this sucks, i got my blower on not that long ago and have barely starting enjoying boost and my cog belt snapped/ stripped on me while i was leaving from lunch the other day. i took it back to the shop where they installed (street image) and they placed a new cog belt on. Now once you turn the car on the blower makes its normal hissing noise but once the car's idle dips to about 600-700rpm it makes this weird vibration noise coming from the blower every second or so. its not a constant noise but you can hear it. After removing the belt and pulley, there is a bit a play in the pulley that is attached to the blower.

question 1. is this normal? and has any one expeirienced this?
2. has anyone gone though vortech to apply there warrenty?
3. how long do they take if they say it is not a warrantable item and i have to get the blower rebuilt?

thanks for any feed back or any other info you have heard..

What do you mean by play the SC pulley ? Does it move back forth AWAY from the blower it self ? If so...did you try to tighten the bolt holding it on ?
If you get that cog belt to tight it make a funny noise . There is a sweet spot ..of play so to speak . About 3/4 inch of play both ways is good for me .
