I notice in his comprehensive evaluation of his problem he did not take any responsibility for the fact that the dampner bolt was loose....

I noticed that too...I have the pulley set, no probs or issues. After the first couple of days, then compounded with heat, had a squeal upon start up. Tightened the belts, no more issues.
