I never heard of guys with 400rwhp shredding the rear diff. My 0-60 foot on that run was 2.117 seconds. That could "easily" be improved. I was only able to make 3 runs and that was the best. The problem is that I was not launching it hard enough (from about 2000rpm).

I have only been racing for about 18 years and I have to admit, this is the first time I have ever even heard the term "shredding the rear diff". Is this some kind of new technical term or did you just make that up today?

Great performance, put some tires on it, get it to hook and you should be able to knock over a half second off.

Aren't they supercharged and not turbo?

Yes, but that one is turboed and intercooled. Pretty impressive setup I must add.

Not really.. A GTP with some basic mods can run that time.

I know, I know. My GTP (supercharged) used to run high 12s. This turbo Regal should be good for mid-12s once he gets some traction and removes his speed limiter (set to 105mph). It is a nice setup, trust me... There is a 2004 intercooled turbo GTP around here that is pushing 460whp or something crazy like that.

Congrats Madelinot on the great times! I can't get traction on my 285-r Falkens so I don't know what to do.

Did you get your APS tuned at GRD?

Brian, I have the same problem...6MT, boosted and my 60' times didn't improve at all...I spin too much of 1st, 2nd and into 3rd...and that's with feathering...I guess the lightened clutch and flywheel didn't help that...

Have you checked into wider tires and/or LSD?

Taking drugs might make his tires look wider, but it probably won't make him any faster.

I have the 2004.5 6MT, so I thought I have the LSD...I run 10" wheels in back with 275's...that should be wide enough. Madelinot is running stock 8.5" with 245's and getting a sub 2 sec 60'...he's clearly doing something dif.

Mmm, I wonder if the 03' has this? All I can say is my 285s can't grip worth a crap. Maybe it's just my driving.

On those runs, I was only able to do 2.0x-2.1x. Spinning pretty hard in first and especially second. I'm using the GRD 93 tune.

The size of the tires won't help grip that much. It's all about the material in the tires. On DR's consistent 1.8 60's. Even got a 1.7 twice. I run 9.5 rear rim with BFG DR's in 265/40/18. More mechanical grip=lower 60ft times.
