SGP Tuner for the ATI Procharger?
Just bought this kit...wondering if anyone had gone to SGP for a tune in Houston- particularly with this kit.

Thanks, I'm sorry if I'm vague or wasting space! Lol.

I know that the ATI has blown more than a few cars and just looking for the best and most experienced tuner, preferably in the Houston area. [SGP, LightSpeed, Carboy]....

SGP didn't tune my car, but they built my motor. They know WTF they are doing. I was going to ship the car out there for tuning but found someone closer.

Good luck with your ATI. It's a great system. BTW, most blown engines are form improper tunning and that applies to all F/I.

Yeah, I've read pages upon pages of precaustions for timing, A/F mixtures, and other tuning that needs to be done. I just want to take the car where someone has done it all before and knows what they are doing.

The ATI is a good unit. I have 22,000 trouble free miles, and a dozen track days on the unit. Runs like a watch. But, you have to tune it conservatively, and pay attention to the belt tension, change the oil in the unit as required every 5,000 miles, etc. etc. I did strip a cog belt when the pulleys wore down their teeth a bit, and they just sent me a whole new pulley kit and two new belts on warranty for free. They treated me right and well. No complaints, and the car has been a rocket.

Could be give me specific, detailed info on how you tuned the kit [timing, a/f, computer flashes, e-manage, j&s or anything else] with the final HP/TQ? Are you stock?

Eagle1 could you also send me a CC of the PM. Also did you get yours installed and tuned local? Thinking of doing the install my self, but need a good place to tune it.
