since the stillen stage 2 sc was installed in my 05 g35 coupe its been trouble. chirping and rattle sounds constantly even upon excelleration. it was installed correctly and 3 expert mechanics couldnt figure it out. they changed belts pullys and shims.now the best certified infiniti mechanic in nc is positive the problem is with the supercharger belt and pully system itself due to poor design.i want stillen to pay the bill or i will take it out and get the money back. i have spent a fortune with stillen and they should have solved this months ago. be carefull when thinking about the best sc. these things should not happen with a co like stillen once they have your money good luck! sweetgator

 

Sucks to hear...Stillen is a reputable company but honestly I haven't heard too many problems with G's w/ the SC. Good luck!

I've had a few problems with my stillen SC, but they have all been resolved one by one. It takes some time and patience. You have to make sure that the belts are tightened properly and that the bolts are tightened in the correct sequence. I shredded one of my belts when I did it wrong the first time.

What kind of noises are you getting? When you say rattle is that a ping rattle or something else?

 

Who installed it? That's where I'd start looking for problems.

I have the stillen supercharger and although i havent had any problems yet, i have to have a fellow g'er with a stillen sc + problems. I would suggest you make a list of all the problems tonight,(listing diffrent sounds, peoples comments, and all that) and call Sam in r&d at stillen.

i installed my stillen stage 2 kit myself and have had only 1 problem with the power steering belt.it needs to be a little tighter than normal.stillen kicks ***
