So I thought I would give it a shot. I just cut out the vent so this is just a rough shot. Im going to try and get this one done along with his console this week.

 

I have the little LED bar graph from my MSD knock alert stuck inside that vent.

 

why would you cut up your vent to do that? i personally don't like the a pillar guage holder for the g, it looks too clunky. I went with the defi guage holders that come with the kit. until i can 'glass my guages where the ash tray is, that's where they will stay.

 

Why not, I do things to see if they will work and how they work. Worse case if it doesnt fit I buy a new vent. But I think it will turn out just fine. Ill start glassing it tomorrow

Well got it done today. The primer is drying, Ill post pics later on tonight. You'll then see why I cut my vent up.
