Anything Wrong With Tuning DOWN?
Just that simple question. About to get the ATI up and running - I've horror stories on this kit and think I have all the "safety" equipment I need. But if the kit is capable of producing near 400WHP [390ish] is there anything wrong with tuning it DOWN to around 350WHP to be safe? Or should it be ran higher....
The biggest problem with the supercharger is you can't 'turn down' the boost (without changing pullys). Tuning conservatively will eithe involve running pig rich (which may lead to problems) or pulling timing. I would try and go right down the middle. Don't push it, but, don't go so conservative that your exhaust tips are black from unburnt hydrocarbons.
