it is safe running by itself. However, you can get the tuner kit w/ the emanage if u want to.

The T-netics is good to go outta the box if you drive an 03 or 04 you just have to send them your ecu. They dont have a reflash done yet for the 05 revup motor in which case the 05'ers are getting emanage ultimates to bypass that problem.

There are several versions of the G kit being released:

6MT no cat
6MT w/ cat
6MT Tuner
5AT no cat
5AT w/ cat
5AT tuner

The tuner versions come with no flash, fuel pump, or injectors so you can get your own and use your own management if you want. All other version come with a Walbro 255 lph fuel pump, 380cc drop in plug injectors, and a reflash.

I havent seen any 1/4 mile times for the APS ST kit yet but I know most of the times I have seen for the Turbonetics kit cars are 12.4-12.7 @ 110-115 MPH on street tires (usually 19")

Wow, that's a lot of versions. I have no idea which one I'm getting.

I didn't have all of those options when I ordered.

Unless you specified otherwise and you have a 6MT G35 you are getting the 6Mt kit with no cat. If you do want the cat I think you can buy the downpipe with the cat seperate and that would make it interchangeable if you want...

I've heard that APS is more tuner friendly than T-netics, is this true or will this change when T-netics comes out with the tuner kit?

I'm not sure where you heard that. APS is no more tuner friendly then the Turbonetics kit. The APS uses a unichip which can only be tuned at 3-4 select tuners in the US.

japtrix, xxtuning, altered atmosphere- all on the east coast and tune unichip. there's still chicago, texas, and cali that does unchip. i think what the guy wanted to know is the aps kit has a tunable unihip piggyback. the t-netics kit has a reflashed ecu unless you order the t-netics tuner kit- then you buy your own piggyback setup or ems. just the facts homie.

Or you can buy and Emanage Ultimate for $595 and add it to the already better out of box tune on the Turbonetics kit and Still be $800 cheaper then the APS kit and get better power when the EU is tuned.
