Everyone who has Greddy TT
Was just at the 350z forum and saw the thread about people who has the Greddy TT and who blew up, and who is running just fine, but that is the 350z population. Wanted to see the G35 pop, and see if they are happy with theirs.

I agree, build your kit the right way and there shouldn't be any problems. I think there was actually a thread comparing the cost of an APS kit to a Greddy kit. Once a worthy fuel system is added to the Greddy kit and modifications were made to the APS system, the price difference was a few hundred $'s. So it's not the kit. It's everyone's lack of buying the right components to complete the kit......I take it this happened to you Iceman8. I am sorry about your loss but not all of us are having the nightmares you are so lets leave the Greddy bashing for somewhere else. Gman2004 was a Greddy TT hero (all 543 rwhp of it). His car just goes to show that the Greddy kit or any other kit can make great power and be reliable with a good tune and quality components.

Ive had mine blow up on me. I put it on an 04 A/T coupe, and the passenger side turbo oil return line got backed up or pinched. This in turn backed the oil into teh turbo, cracked a few seals and damaged the turbo, then backed up into the exhaust mainfold and cracked the exhaust manifold around cyl 5. Cyl 5 in turn had a 80% leak into the crank case due to a cracked ring and ring landing. Everything is getting fixed and were putting in a few more goodies as well as a built motor.
Like everyone else says. TUNING IS A MUST WITH THE GREDDY KIT!!

Just wondering what your symptoms were when this happened and how many miles you had on the car?
The only reason I like the greddy kit over the APS system is tunability and fimiliarity. I am fimiliar with Greddy kits and the Greddy Emanage, to a point, and so are alot of other people. While I have read on here of people trying to find certified tuners to tune the system the APS kit uses, which I can't remember what it is called. The Greddy emanage I think is easier to tune. But when I order my kit I am adding a few extras, ie- HKS SSQV BOV, 650cc RC injectors, Emanage Ulitmate, and a couple more goodies to go inside the motor that I haven't completely decided on yet.
