So I went to see my car today

I was hoping I would get lucky and they would alomst be done when I got there, but that was a big negative. So I got out my trusty camera and took some pics. Nothing special but I thought I would share anyways. My car will be tomorrow late morning they say, I cant wait, I told them I wanted to be there for the first start up and the tuning so they said they would call.... Lets hope they actually call.

looks good. let us know when you get some numbers. would love to compare what you get with what I get.

looks like you have aftermarket headers. i kept them stock, but went with cams instead. very interested in your numbers. assume you will be running a 93 octane out in Arizona?

like the stillen front bumper. looks like it'll give more than adequate flow to the filter and intercooler. seeing your pics makes me wonder if the Kensty;e front bumper is good? It better be...

might be a good investment to get some sort of grille for all three openings to protect them from the small stuff that will eventually get on them

Actually it is the stock manifolds. Over here in AZ 93 octane is hard to come by so I went with the 91 map. I had them do a baseline run too, this is on a dyno dynamics though so my nubers are going to be a bit lower. Id like to get those holes somewhat covered up, I just havent decided what I want to use yet.

that's good to hear you are running stock manifolds. even a better point of comparison for the addition of aftermarket cams.

mine will be done on a dastek dynamometer. based on the spec i read, both are load based. interested to see how much they differ. hopefully I can get an idea of what my cams added in terms of HP/TQ.

i will also be running on 91 oct. running APS instead of Crawford plenum, and Tanabe exhaust (70mm) vs your Fuji (76.3mm).

you mind PMing the price for install/tuning? and r u running any gauges? looks like a wideband u have.

Your car is looking good!!!

I ordered some mesh from Drew at Custom Automesh and covered mine....

It keeps the squirrles out of your intercooler....

to avoid any headaches in the future, i'll pass off some advice. you'll probably won't reach the numbers you'll looking for with the tanabe or fuji exhaust. the turbo relies on the least amount of backpressure possible. 320whp/360tq at 7.5 psi with a nasty pressure drop with the fuji and that reducer between the exhaust and downpipe. after i bolted up a jic 3" the boost stabilized and i put out 370whp/395tq at 8.5psi. this was on a 93octane base map. i really wanted to keep the fuji for the dual tips and mellow tone, but the jic gave me the power i wanted out of the kit. hopefully you don't have any problems with your kit but if you do, pm me. don't forget the wiring diagram for the g and 350z are different. you have to go to the website for the correct diagram. the dyno chart that aps uses on their site was with 93 octane AND a prototype 3" exhaust.

the Fujitsubo exhaust is 76mm piping... which is 3"... why would the Fuji exhaust need a reducer? now, if the JIC simply flows better, well that makes sense. but the piping is the same diameter

The reducer is there because APS designed the single turbo to mate to the stock exhaust. Without the reducer pipe there you have about a 4inch gap between down pipe and exhaust, so you have to use it unless you have some custom fab a new bigger one or extend your exhaust somehow. I am going to cut the flanges off and reattach them to a 3 inch straight thru pipe and call it a day.
