nice vids...I've ran there too and the best i could pull off with my 19's was a 13.4...here's a pic of me staging there...aawww, CalSpdWay! I love it.

BTW, what were your 60' times like? I couldn't get better than a 2.22

**sorry, saw your 60' time in your first post...DAMN, you had to be running slicks, no? If not, what type of tires and at what pressure.

I was running bfg drag radials on my stock 18's, really helped. On my street tires I couldn't launch above Idle on my tach. I was launching at 2000 in the slower video and 3000 on the one where I race the civic. I ran the tires at 18 psi. I was told to run them at 15. I was also told to launch at 5000. I want to ease into it. on dec 3rd I'm going again and Ill try a little more aggressive.

my 60' times were 2.020 and 2.065. I had a run that day where I did a 2.65 when I had the tires at 32 psi. bfg drag radials

cool...look forward to your Dec 3rd posts...have fun and be safe bro...btw, if you speed shift, you'll knock a tenth or two off your time...that's when you keep the accel down between shifts...just don't miss the shifts...otherwise known as "don't lift to shift!"...I did that at a track out here and knocked two tenths off of my best time of the night.

I was lifting when I shifted. I think it would be better to hold the pedal down because you dont lose boost that way. But when I tried it went into redline. So I need to practice a little when to shift. Thanks for the advice, its always helpful when people pass info on.

did you notice when I was up against the mustang I tried to hit the brake and get a hotter and longer burn out. It didn't work to well, the car just lost power. I think nissan made the car so you can't do that.

When you ran your 13.4 what was your trap speed?

How does one do one of those long burn outs?

Based on:
Temp: 85°
Humidity: 58%
Track Altitude: 1120 feet
Pressure: 30.19 in.

Density Altitude = 3035 feet ET MPH
Uncorrected 13.44 @ 104.57
Corrected 12.96 @ 108.32

My 60' was 2.020

Hey what did you do or use to get your corrected times? I raced at Cali Speedway in August and ran a 14.43 @98 N/A. I could of done better if I brake torqued. What size DR's do you have? I have 245/40 18 on my stock G wheels since I thought the 265 would be too wide for the wheel. Good luck on the 3rd. Anyone know the air density altitude for LACR? The best I can do there is a 14.8-15.2.
