1/4 mile times for boosted, blown, or squeezed G35s

Let's get a list of 1/4 mile times for the forum members.

I have searched the forums, but I can't find a good list of either boosted, blown, or nitroused G35s........................

13.2@109 @ 5.7lbs...trying to get my boost back by adding a spacer and tightening all belts down...maybe I'll see 8lbs again...I know my exhaust and cats are killing me...

Vortech, stock setup, but I was losing boost because of my hi-flo cats and free flowing dual Injen exhaust...plus, I found out that my main belt was loose.

don't know what to tell you...what exhaust do you have...they measured the boost I was making (because I do not have a boost gauge) and they said my max boost was 5.7lbs...maybe it was just my belt and they were full of it...we'll see next Tues cuz I'm having it retuned and I will be tightening the belt there...

Randy - Even if you get less boost, don't you get more power? Wold a stock G35 with Vortech be faster than yours with all your mods?

I believe that a stock G with the stock cats and stock exhaust would be faster because the boost would be retained...however, others have had a dif experience (see above)...the only reason I have a modded exhaust and cats is because I did that b4 the SC. Getting retuned next week and adding a 1/2" spacer with tune.

But you do make more power compared to a stock one, right? Also, for FI wouldn't HF cats or test pipes be better? I was thinking of getting some Labree test pipes. Should I go against this?

I'd say, start with the stock system, see what you put down and go from there...that way you have a baseline...
