My preliminary Dyno

well,my last dyno was in the turbo shootout for Sport Z Magazine.the number was 402hp @ 8psi.that was on Dynapack which i believe about 15hp higher then Dyno Dynamics.
since then i had my built motor in and also recently swap out for those 60-1 Hi Fi turbos
just got it dyno again.the number is 452whp @ 10psi on Dyno Dynamic.the plan is push her to 16-17psi and see what number i can get out of it.but 1 thing we found out is the air temp raising when we try at 12psi so i need to switch out for larger intercoolers before i can go on.also,i might swap out the plenum too because with the current one,i gain hp up top but at the same time give up TQ down low.i like to see a little more.
another thing we know for sure is with 5AT (especially with my trany/TC set up) it robs power big time, any where between 25-30%.for those who want to gun for big hp number, get the 6MT.
my thought on the Turbonetics 60-1 HiFi.these pupies are big.they rated at 300-650hp each.but because of their size, more lag.the car drive very normal until i punch it,at 4800-5000rpm is when the boost come alive whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...scream like a bitch and pull like ***** fukar
i'll be driving like this for a while until Tim custom design a new intercooler and plenum.

which turbos did you have prior to upgrading to the 60-1 hifi's? 452whp is sweet, congratulations on that... what's the ultimate goal... 500? 600?

answer for both questions are in the 1st post.turbosnetics T3s are come standard with the kit.and then i upgraded to T4 but right away switch to those HiFis.
the goal is to run it at 16-17psi and see what ever HP i can get out of it.
yes still running the same IC until the custom one build.

Steve,
Did you opt for ball bearing Turbos? Tim was telling me your using the profec B boost controller, you should change to Blitz sbc, if your planning boosting up 16-17psi.

urprised we haven't heard any of their high and mighty representation yet. I can hear it now, "I love my custom VRT TT kit with custom intercoolers....TINMAN if you are looking for great flowing intercoolers that will work with the stock bumper, then you should call the guys over at VRT. They make daily driver G's and Z's with over 500 rwhp. Did I mention I love my VRT built car....That's VRT folks."

I forgot to ask, are you staying w/ 2 IC's or will you be going to 1 IC?
