Post Update on APS ST on G35

Past Issues:
Stuttering power
Turbo exhaust leak
Low power
Unable to hold boost

Resolutions:
Just installed EU
Tighted loose and missing bolts around turbo
Installed Greedy boost controller

Now:
Over all much better response and performance but still have some issues.
HP 338 TQ 360
Can't hold boost at higher RPM
Stalling often and takes several attempts to restart. ??
SES light (not sure cause yet)

One day everything will just work, One day...

I suggest getting in contact with tig. He's had some issues with his st kit as well, but to my knowledge, he's now holding boost.

good luck

boost leak... check all your connections. you can check leaks by caping the turbo and use an aircompressor to pressurize the plumbing. AFter that, spray soapy water on all your connections to see where the leak is at.

I think just about EVERY APS ST has had the boost drop off. Tig is the man working the solution. Hit him up and he will help you out... he seems to be a good guy.

Very good idea. There has to be a leak.
I want a new BOV any suggestions. Also could a BOV be causing my stalling issues?

i know that if its an open atmospheric BOV, the car tends to stumble, and sometimes die out on you...unless your car is tuned for it. maybe you should try to recirculate the valve? see if that helps.

you can do what i did, take a coupler, put a short(~2 inch) pvc pipe capped off with a valve and pressure gauge on it, and hook that to a compressor, and hook it onto the turbo inlet and pressurize the system. mine held 18 psi, but i still had that boost leak. its the actuator.
