hey guys, i need help. i am in so cal and i want to find a good shop to do my install on a used vortech, bought it from neffser. anyone know of a good place? thanks, southern cal

 

Sorry ....not much help here since I'm on the other side of the country....

But...it is a easy do it yourself install if you have any mechanical skills and basic tools...we did mine in one day.

Then take it to a good shop for tuning.

 

Where exactly are you in socal?

 

i am right in east la basically. aint no shop around here ide trust, i am willing to take out to even san diego. whatever it takes, but i am shure there are some local shops, anyone heard of brainstorm before?? thanks

 

you can take your car to Street Image Performance in Baldwin Park. The mechanic there is Eric. He is very reputable, he used to work with Promotions in Montebello. Check out the website and you can get the # to call and find out pricing www.streetimage.com

If you want to get the job done cheaply, then street image is probably not the right place for you. Street image charges very reasonably prices, and does an excellent and pristine job. This place is all about perfection and quality, and not about how many customers they can get done in an hour’s time.

I have personally spent close to 10k at street image alone; it’s a shop that does it all.

Or you can take it to GT motorsports in Rancho Cucamonga, or XS Engineering in Huntington Beach. XS has a pretty high labor charge but their work in un-fadable. Talk to troy....he'll take care of ya

 

Speed Force Racing in San Diego or Chad from this forum who is also in San Diego. He does good installs for a lot cheaper than pro shops, but he works out of his garage and does this as a hobby. He just did a Turbonetics ST install. PM for his info.
