Vortech Owners...does your blower do this?

I posted this over at my350z but I might as well ask here too. Booger...you dont have to post again

Hey guys. Sorry for another chapter in my Vortech book of rattles. I had 2 shops diagnose my problem as the blower and I sent it back to Vortech. Nothing was wrong (so they say) and it still has the same rattle noise from hell.

Anyways...just messing with the cog...i was curious to see if your Vortech makes this same noise on the cog gear....check out the video to see what I am talking about. (thanks guys...I dont have another Vortech anywhere around me so I am forced to do it this way)

or a second video...but same thing really

And where did you get it fix? Did it require removal of the blower?

Cool

YEP......Mine sounds the exact same.

Vortech says it is normal gear lash.

I had my idle bumped up to 850 rpm's and I have found a sweet spot in the belt tension (actually tighter)and it is pretty quiet right now.
