Me too. We're talking about a $4K blower kit...I figured there would be some good support. Guess I was wrong....

Yeah...here you go. I have posted many videos so I will only show you the last few...

First video is just the car running with the belt and making the noise:

http://videos.streetfire.net/player....1-6D3714577131

Second and Third Video have the cog belt on and I just simply jiggle the belt which makes the gear **** behind the blower rattle.

http://videos.streetfire.net/player....7-8EBEAB7E45D5

http://videos.streetfire.net/player....4-F9C0EB6E2082

Fourth video has the cog belt off and the gear thing exposed. Here...i can spin it and jiggle it and make it rattle. Like its coming loose. I also fiddle with the other cog gear attached to the pulley and it is on tight with no rattle jiggles.

http://videos.streetfire.net/player....E-FF025F16B558

Again...I do not know if this is what is causing my rattles...but...Vortech has been unwilling to help in anyway other than...send the blower back for "re-inspection". Thats BS. They had my unit last month. They should have figured it out then.

Their warranty is weak. Says they will cover defects for 1 or 3 years (depending on what pulley you install). It covers no labor. And you even have to pay for the shipping to get it to them.

I am an attorney so I know my rights. I have documented everything. I am done dealing with the tech department. I'll try reaching the president and go that route. If anything...I'll sue them. I can't file it b/c I am in Florida but if there is an attorneys fees provision, I'll file it in a heartbeat. Hell...I may file it anyways

I'm sorry to hear about your frustrations and after watching your videos, I can see it in your hand during your demonstration. I thank you for the info and that gives me more input about vortechs cs. C/S is the most important thing to me and when a company treats its customers this way, its a instant turn off to me. I hope you get this resolved.

I work for a law firm (Milbank Tweed) and so far you're the nicest attorney I know, especially litigators... they can be real nasty. Stop holding back and just rip them apart.

Check out the my350z thread. They are actually responding to the thread and basically calling me a whiney liar. Great folks over at Vortech...

Un clear whether you sent every part back to them for evaluation or just supercharger unit?

I just sent the blower (the main unit) back to them. 2 shops diagnosed that as the problem and when the cog is taken off...it stops making the noise which Vortech told me most likely means an issue with the blower. Thats why i didnt send more back.

Glad you got some sort of resolution. Nothing more frustrating then a company that won't stand behind their product and warranty. Especially on a big ticket item like this.

Let us know how it works out.
