SC G35 Sedan. HKS V-Con Standalone, HKS Navigator, aquamist injection
I just dropped off my G35 Sedan at GT Motorsports for a complete new setup. My car right now has the Vortech SC with Split second box... 345WHP and about 315WTorque...
GT motorsports is installing the complete HKS stand alone engine mang. system (V-Con Pro 3.2). HKS knock amp for fuel and air mixture read outs. HKS navigator to watch all vital parts of the motor. Also a aquamist system where they combine methyl and water to cool the intake air by 75 degrees. The aquamist system will be controlled by HKS V-con, and will steadily increase with boost.
The owner Sam at GT motorsports says the HKS stand alone system out performs any other piggy back ECU on the market.... I agree..
The car will be tuned with 5 different computer maps and can be switched with a push of a button.
Also installing Defi gauges, (3), oil press, boost, and EGT.
The total cost for parts and install was just over 10 grand... Expensive for HKS setup. I get the car back this sat. I will take pictures and post dyno sheet for everyone on the forum. The tuner said I will have about 400WHP on the preset 91 octane map. On the second map of the HKS computer will be 100 octane and methyl injection, when running this map he said I should have about 415WHP.
See what happens when I pick it up Sat. Can hardly Wait.

I agree it is overkill. I just want the best setup and that is HKS, and I am almost certain this G35 sedan will be the first ever with this extreme setup. When you get into the car there will be so many gauges and electronics it will be like a video game. Cant Wait. I saw the same setup in a G35 coupe and could not resist.

I agree... Twin turbos are awesome and I wish thats what I had instead of SC. I bought my supercharger about 2 years ago and back then there was not much to choose from for twin turbos for the G35 Sedan. Greddy and PE were the only ones out. I heard many times that SC are less stress on motor and more reliable, so at the time I wanted FI, and decided with vortech SC. I have done a lot of research on twin turbos and SC, and many say the TT is much better.
For now I enjoy the car a lot and I am pleased with the performance. Customizing a G35 is always different and I thought it sounded like a cool setup that had not been done. I will post Pics and dyno sheets if the car is done by Sat.
