I'm picking her up tomorrow night...but she's going right in for tint...I won't really be able to drive her until this weekend.
How long is the break in period after installing a vortech?

If you put that 420whp Vortech AT5 on a Mustang dyno , you would end up at 350...360whp . Not trying rag or any thing . Just making the comparo between the two
booger this was on a load base dyno, not a dynojet so I don't think it is that much of a difference, plus this was done by Z car garage and scott performance, there was only a difference of 20hp and that was due to Rob not being able to tune after 5500rpm due to the dyno being so new, Ted tuned above 5500rpm.
I understand your concern over people posting inflated numbers but i am right there when they add corrections in and I make sure it in not 13-17% like some do.

HP/TQ don't mean diddly squat. We need 1/4 mile times!
What can you put to the ground. You can have 1000HP and 900 f/p TQ and if you can't get it to the pavement, it does you no good. Now it's darn sure fun from 50 mph on up!

370rwhp and 300 ft/lbs torque.
I don't go to race strips.
I haven't been able to let loose on the car because I only have 1,000 miles on my car and I'm trying to break it in.
Is it normal for the Vortech to gargle during idle?
They had some issues tuning the 06 engine but it was able to be done.
So my vortech is in and my tech says that everything seems great.

I don't know what tuning sytem. The guys that installed it tuned. If you're talking about the split second box???
I haven't pushed the car over 3,000 rpms since I first got it...even with the supercharger in.
It shouldn't be a problem.
I'm going to keep the car at 3,000 rpms or lower for the next 2,000 miles to break it in with the super charger.

If your car was put on a dyno to give you the hp/tq figures you have then it was definitely taken over 3k RPM's... If I were you I would look into getting your oil changed asap!
Some will say to stay with dino oil until you hit 4k - 5k miles and then go full synthetic but the jury is still out on that.
