Vortech is successfully in my 06 5AT coupe.

I got it dynoed today...(well I wasn't there but the guy that installed it dynoed it).
He said I'm doing 370rwhp with stock internals.
I have a 2006 5AT coupe.
I'll have pictures and more numbers when I pick up my car early this week.
So it can be done. He just used a kit for a 2005 5AT.

The problem for the Vortech isn't for '06 Automatics...

The problem is for the MANUAL TRANSMISSIONS, which have a tweaked out engine and a bit more power AKA "Rev-Up Engine".

I don't know about the torque...didn't ask.
I thought the problems were just for the 6MT but people have been telling me that it wouldn't work on the 5AT either...people said that they called Vortech and Vortech themselves said it wouldn't work on any 06. Well I'm saying that it DOES work on the 5AT.

Oh, never heard about problems for the 5AT, I don't see why it wouldn't work...and I guess you're proof it does.

Congrats and enjoy!

I had my vortech put in also. I dynoed at 210rwhp stocked before the vortech and now Im getting 360rwhp and that is stocked tuned. I have not turned the computer yet because Im waiting to put a customed dual pipe on first. Im hoping to get a little over 370rwhp. Im at 8psi.

I see you used a 350z springs it dropes it nice. I have the 350z hotchis and its slamed.

150 jump on 7psi is an impressive gain.

nice work dude,
I just have a off topic question. What does PSI mean? The more psi the better?
