Wow, do you really think it's the new IC setup that is allowing you that much boost or just the T-trim blower? You are also running the 3.12 pulley correct?

I also like the front bumper ... which one is that?

I had the T-trim on with the smaller IC and the belt would slip at 13psi . The preasure build up between the blower and the IC was to much and the belt slipped . Old numbers and new

old.......new

3500rpm..4psi.....4.5
4000.......4.8....5.5
4500.......6......7
5000......8.......9.2
5500.......9.5......11
6000......11.5 ?

I never went passed 5700rpm's today and boost was at 12psi
The bigger IC allows the blower to breath much better and boost preasure build up between blower and IC isnt as much

Sounds like I may need to look into a different IC setup, looks like untapped HP just waiting to be unleashed! I thought I saw you post in another thread what FMIC setup you went with but don't remember ... what was it you ended up going with? Also I can't remember if you are running the 3.12 pulley or not. I know I can't go as aggressive as your setup since you're built and I am on stock internals with stock fuel injectors but I can still go up a little!

Also have you tried contacting Split Second about what happens above 16psi? You can submit an information request on their website... http://www.splitsec.com/

yah..I emailed them 2 weeks ago about it ...no reply ...I'll have to call them.

I think if you try to go passed 9-10psi . A bigger IC will help flow more air . I went with a IceVex IC. 12+4+31 . I also went to 3 inch pipe from the IC to the TB , which also helped with flow

The website which lists the larger IC actually lists the core size which is 12+4+24 but it is still the same IC.
I had to look twice before I found it myself.

If you go to MeanGenes thread over at My350.com call { I pulled the trigger ] Rabbid posted a pic with both stock IC and the IceVex side by side , to compare them to each other

Smile Project Foundation

Gang - I've been bombarded with PM's about my current project from folks wanting to know the parts & details. First all, thanks to everyone for their interest & support ( even the expected "why not go turbo?" questions ). Here's a recap of all my parts - most from Sharif @ Forged Internals ( GREAT vendor & person in general )

AEBS block bored & sleeved to 100 mm. Block is O-ringed as well & will displace 3.87 liters.
Darton MID sleeves
OEM Nissan crank ( reportedly good to 1400 hp )
Pauter rods
Arias Extreme Duty pistons ( 9.0 to 1 CR )
ARP studs
JWT S1 cams
Ferrea 1mm oversized valves. OEM heads will have minor port-matching & bowl work.
Ferrea valvetrain ( springs, retainers & locks )
Cometic head gaskets
APS oil pan
IM will either be Crawford ( currently on car ) or Kinetix SSV. John will dyno both & pick the best for my/our application.
Motordyne thermal-barrier lower IM gaskets
350 EVO bored throttle body
3" mandrel bent & thermal coated intake piping
Greddy 660 injectors mounted in John's anodized fuel rails & full return system
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
Aeromotive rising rate FPR
HKS wastegate
Greddy BOV
E-manage Ultimate
AquaMist A-1 water/methanol injection system
Greddy catch can
Gordee's grounding kit
Full Borla exhaust ( headers & TD ) The headers R wrapped in thermal tape.
Labree responated test pipes
DSS axles
Quaife LSD
3.53 geared differential ( might follow Bill's lead & stay w/the 3.3's )
Custom driveshaft ( Maybe 6160 T-6 aluminium or 300M - ask John! )
Level 10 T/C ( 2800 rpm stall ) & V/B. Might be changed to either an SGP beefed tranny or L480E w/paddle shift - we'll see.
ZEX wet nitrous system w/NX Maximizer
J&S Safeguard
SAMCO hoses
Koyo radiator
B&M Hi-Tek tranny cooler

Whew!! I'm sure I've forgotten something but this is probably 90% of the project. Now just don't ask me the total cost!!
